The answers to the big questions in life that I got from religion or science never quite satisfied, and this spurred me to enquire further, to go ever deeper. ‘If there was a spiritual reality, and we were supposed to be spiritual beings, then we should be able to understand and experience it,’ as I reasoned it. I was primed, then, to set off on a profound journey of discovery, in which life would truly never be the same again, in which there would be many ups and downs.
That was 20 years ago, and in 2022, “Prosperus” emerged as a project bringing together many different strands of life I had encountered and explored so far: a profound personal journey and exploration of spiritual reality that had been going on all my life; a response to a sense of deeply considered vocation and desire to be of benefit and service; the acquisition of a wide range of theoretical knowledge and understanding to back the practical, the experienced; and the discovery and development of a novel approach to spiritual exploration, building on scientific methods and learning from both modern and traditional spiritual and religious philosophies.
The next 20 years are going to be wild!

The idea for a new educational project, responding to the new spirituality that was emerging – driven by a new World Impulse – began to germinate in 2013. Ten years later, this took form as Prosperus.
The name “Prosperus” speaks to the hope, intention and deep realisation that this spiritual education project can truly bring prosperity, in all senses of the word, to all of us. It is, however, down to all of us to make it so.
Keep reading for a short history of how this project came about from a very small beginning: the personal search and desire to be a benefit and of service to others.
Responding to a call to be of benefit and service to others, founder Anton Jarrod embarks on a seven year journey to develop his own approach to personal and spiritual transformation in a way that makes sense to others, with an inkling for a future educational project.
Seeing a need to upskill and develop in new areas, Anton completes the first part of a big seven-year plan to launch a new educational project in 2020, including releasing a new book about the Danish spiritual philosopher Martinus in 2016.
Further upskilling opportunities, through starting a PhD in sociology, are taken, even though it means extending the “Plan 2020” by another year. Things remain on track for a good 18 months, until…
The global COVID pandemic upends all plans, and causes major disruption on a personal, social, financial and work level. Whilst work continues on the educational project, it is at risk of failing entirely on many occasions.
With determination and grit, the envisioned project launches as “Prosperus”, and immediately embarks on its own challenging journey of discovery. The website and courses go through several evolutions. A focus on community-driven development emerges.
